Version:            (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS:                Linux

Attention -  Tobias.

The in box for kmail is open.  in the view pane,after right clink, the context menu is enabled. Tried to assign a task to a recipient /addressee. And kontact collapses and this bug report wizard appears.  so saved that text file and mailed it to you.

Please understand that I am a novice before you ask me for specific inputs.  I am technically 'challenged' you see..:)

Backtrace looks similar to the one in bug #171491. The same problem / bug?

Here is one more:

I maximized the KDEPIM.
Ctrl + N for the new message.
Inserted a contact name.
Wrote a small message.
Attached a pdf file.
ctl+ ent, to send.
Went into file menu.
Chose the option "send the qued messages via" and ctrl+L.
It crashed.

There were two mails id's configured to send the mails through the pop/imap accounts. 

Other applications open were Firefox. Open office.
