Description René Krell 2008-09-19 11:12:50 UTC
Version:           4.1.0 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080828)) "release 52.1", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.16-0.1-default

Each time I start KOrganizer (as plugin from Kontact) the calendar views are hidden and I must shift the appropriate split bar to see them (see screenshots I'll append before and after shifting). This layout setting is never saved or restored in the same manner on restarting the application.

Update:
I tried to quit Kontact with the KOrganizer plugin from the menu by
 "File"->"Quit". This way, the above setting was saved an the calendar view was as before quitting.
The problem with saving the KOrganizer view settings seems to be in case of shutting down Kontact/KOrganizer together with KDE without quitting them explicitely, is that possible?

i'm pretty sure we have this fixed for 4.1.3 and 4.2.
so i'm closing.

please re-open if the problem persists in these newer versions.
