Description Pablo Michael Silva 2008-09-18 15:08:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The file history doesn't work properly. If I don't save a session and open aways a new one, the "Open Recent" list is empty ou has just one file.

I'm not a kate developer, hence I'm not going to change the status of the bug. However I think your wish is invalid, either you want to have the list of recently opened files stored, which is done in the session, or you don't. If you want to store them you have to re-use your session.

Thanks for answering! I was familiarized with the feature of storing the last opened files on Kate 2.x (KDE 3) and didn't know it was discarded. I've never used the session management so I thought there was a bug.
