Comment 1 Cristian Dimache 2008-09-23 14:16:25 UTC
Same here, but, unfortunately, I cannot provide a backtrace.
Same steps to reproduce
Comment 2 timocin 2008-10-03 13:55:15 UTC
Which are the steps to reproduce?
Comment 3 Miroslav Zidek 2008-10-03 14:29:02 UTC
> Which are the steps to reproduce?
steps are simply - openning Kontact, working with IMAP accounts (check for new mails, reply, delete...). When you close Kontact (or Kmail), it crashed. No special actions needed. Clean configuration, old configuration the same effect. (In reply to comment #2)

Comment 4 Dario Andres 2008-12-04 19:00:28 UTC
This may be related/duplicate of bug 163712 (same description, similar backtrace) :)
Comment 5 Dario Andres 2008-12-14 17:47:38 UTC
@Miroslav: Can you still reproduce this bug again with a recent KDE version ( 4.1.3 / 4.2beta1 / 4.2svn)? Thanks :)
The related bug 163712 seems to be fixed in 4.1.3
Comment 6 Christophe Marin 2009-01-19 16:36:09 UTC
No feedback since 14 Dec. (comment #5) Let's assume it's fixed.
Comment 7 Miroslav Zidek 2009-01-19 18:07:55 UTC
Thanks - in KDE 4.1.3 Kontact looks stable with IMAP use.
Comment 8 G. Iancu 2009-01-19 23:07:01 UTC
I got the bug again, but it seems to get solved if one rebuild the local IMAP index.
The backtrace follows:

@G. Iancu: your post contain a different crash.

If you can reproduce the crash at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace in a NEW REPORT?
Also, don't forget to add your KDE version (or SVN revision/branch)

Thanks :)
