Description Bassio 2008-09-14 02:47:38 UTC
Version: 1.90 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

Summary: if you use drag and drop .. you cannot drop an item to the end of the playlist (provided the list is completely full)

why? because the green bar which signals where you are dropping it does not snap to the end of a completely full playlist reaching the lowermost edge.

The trick is: if you are dragging from inside the playlist it always works :D

But if you are dragging from Dolphin from example .. it will be there.

Of course the user can drop on the last file which assumes they will queue the item at the end .. but still this is inconsistent behavior.

I think I'm having the same issue (though I'm not certain, since I don't know of a green bar). I cannot drag a track from my collection to the end of a full playlist in Amarok 2.0.

If you excuse me, I will reopen this bug.

Now I am using Amarok 2.1 (Build date 2 June 2009)

The thing is the visualizer still does not snap to the end of the playlist.

What it does however is snap to the position before the last track.

Conclusion is that you can only drag an item to the position before the last .. and not append it at the tail of the playlist.

This is of course assuming that the playlist contains entries more than the vertical height of the playlist.
