Description Erik Pfannenstein 2008-09-10 14:53:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

I set a panel on the bottom of the desktop, which I fit out like the conrol bar of KDE 3.5.9 On the left of the desktop I set up the Folder View which shows my old "Desktop"-Folder, besides it the Analog Clock and the Trashcan. On the top I installed a second panel which has the News Ticker and the New Device Notifier on it.

When I restart (simply restart!) the computer and re-login to KDE, both panels are on the bottom of the desktop and both are empty. The clock is on the left on top and the Trashcan on the middle of the screen, only Folder View is where it should be.

I got the full KDE 4.1.1-package and no special plugins yet.

please attach your plasma-appletsr and plasmarc files; also, open a konsole window and do `kquitapp plasma` and see if crashes when that happens.
