Version: 0.9.1 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-gentoo-r7 Hi, I just used the written practice a little and have some suggestions for the user interface that I'd like to share. (Some of the UI ideas I borrowed from "Langescheidts Vokabeltrainer" as I think it has a quite well-designed UI when it comes to the written practice mode.) What about changing the current layout in the following way: On the left you have a big box with the source vocabulary, on the right you have a big box with the target vocabulary (once it gets unveiled) and the picture can then be placed in between these two boxes. All the current buttons can then be below all these three boxes. (I'll attach a rough sketch of what I mean) I mainly propose this change as currently the picture takes approx. half the screen estate and the main part of the widget (the vocabulary) is very small. (in fact, even smaller than the verify button at times) By changing the widget as proposed, there also is more space for the vocabulary entries which means they can use a far larger (and thus more easily recognizable) font.
