Description Eric Emsellem 2008-09-05 13:12:51 UTC
Version:           2.1 (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When I open a NEW konsole window on my 2x3 desktops (by clicking on icon I had put in the panel) it sometimes/often does NOT appear in the desktop I am presently in, but in one of the other panel. I haven't found in which exact circumstances this happens, but it looks like the konsole often opens in a desktop where I had (during a previous session) opened a konsole in the past (but which was closed).

This is weird and very annoying. This may just reflect my ignorance of the setting up of KDE of course? Or a real bug!

thanks for any help here.

It happens to me too.

When I start Konsole from the K Menu it often opens up in the first window of four, even though I am working in anyone of the other three windows.

Version: 2.1;
OS: GNU/Linux on x86_64;
Compiled with GCC 4.3.2 from source.

Can anyone still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ?  Thanks :)

Marking as WORKSFORM. Re-open if you experience this again with a recent KDE version, and post new information. Thanks :)
