This is the same as the old bug #67017 was about: notifications for KMail/aKregator do not work when they are run inside Kontact.

SVN commit 860031 by tmcguire:

Fix KMail notifications not working in Kontact.
Also, convert to notifications to proper error dialogs.

Akregator probably needs a similar fix.
