Can you provide an example of the document that causes this crash? Can you tell us what version of poppler you have? Also, can you install the debug packages for okular and poppler, and try to reproduce the problem?
The bug corresponds to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=456234. The PDF document which causes the crash reported there is http://www.tap.msu.edu/handbook/2008-2009_handbook.pdf. -- http://politics.wikia.com/index.php?title=Extending_human_legislation_to_artificial_intelligences http://education.wikia.com/wiki/User:Fasten/Pilingual_Primer http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Mentoring_Handbook http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Topic:Assistant_teacher_program
@Bernhard Fastenrath (Comment #2): no, the redhat bug has exactly nothing to do with this bug. That bug is actually a bug in the Poppler library, already fixed in recent versions it (for sure >= 0.8.6).
Thanks Pino.
I can't reproduce this one using okular and poppler 0.10.1 (well, git) on kubuntu 8.10, or on my fairly standard Fedora 9 box. Can you please tell us which version of poppler you have? Can you install debugging packages to try for a better backtrace?
Doesn't seem to be happening anymore - I've alsos tried the links on the other reports comments and they work
