Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.1.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I was working with Konqueror and decided to download the getlibs Debian package to install it manually since it is not in any Debian repo. The application runs on 64bit Debian GNU/Linux SID. I clicked to download it and the "Save File" emerged. I clicked on "Save As..." and the request was catched by kget. The curious thing was that the box for choosing a group was not shown although I have four groups. I chose the folder and the download started. Before it finished, kget crashed and I got the following message: Application: KGet (kget), signal SIGABRT (no debugging symbols found) [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread 0x7f62a2926790 (LWP 7454)] [KCrash handler] #5 0x00007f629f72c145 in raise () from /lib/libc.so.6 #6 0x00007f629f72d663 in abort () from /lib/libc.so.6 #7 0x00007f62a00414f5 in qt_message_output (msgType=QtFatalMsg, buf=<value optimized out>) at global/qglobal.cpp:2061 #8 0x00007f62a0041637 in qFatal (msg=<value optimized out>) at global/qglobal.cpp:2263 #9 0x00007f62a2451b73 in KExtendableItemDelegate::Private::_k_extenderDestructionHandler (this=0x2520140, destroyed=<value optimized out>) at /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.1.0/kdeui/itemviews/kextendableitemdelegate.cpp:128 #10 0x00007f62a2451c11 in KExtendableItemDelegate::qt_metacall ( this=0x25381d0, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=2, _a=0x7fffaaa5d0c0) at /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.1.0/obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/kdeui/kextendableitemdelegate.moc:74 #11 0x0000000000431db6 in _start () #0 0x00007f629f799170 in __nanosleep_nocancel () from /lib/libc.so.6
This crash (to be exactly an assert) is most probably already fixed (in 4.4.1 and trunk).
