Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Actual version of nepomuk horribly need optimization. If i enable nepomuk + strigi indexing it take too much time to index data ... on my computer it not end. If is only nepomuk enabled, apps using nepomuk are slow (with bigger uptime are slower and slower...). At example Dolphin ... with nepomuk enabled file browsing is slow ... if i hover file it take much time to show infos in information panel and with top i can see high cpu usage by nepomukservices. When nepomuk is disabled from control panel file browsing speed with dolphin is much better.

in kde 4.2 nepomuk will be disabled by default if no fast backend is available. I think this can be seen as fixed then.
