Description Florian Loitsch 2008-08-21 13:30:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

the provided .ps document does not render correctly. I think the .ps is broken, but 'gv' is able to show it, and printing it has worked too.

It seems to render correctly here (taking ~5s for 100% zoom rendering); could you please attach a screenshot of what you see, so we can compare?
Comment 3 Florian Loitsch 2008-08-21 14:15:01 UTC
sorry. I did not explain myself sufficiently. On my machine only one page is rendered ('Resume', 'Mots Cles', ...).
The document consists however of more than 150 pages. Probably this is the reason the rendering takes 5 seconds. Okular probably renders all other pages first and discards them?
Comment 4 Pino Toscano 2008-08-21 15:11:24 UTC
Now I see the problem, yes.
Although, Okular does not read and render PostScript documents on its own, but uses the libspectre library for that, and the problem is located in that library.
Thus, I'm closing this bug as INVALID (not something Okular can do about that), but the problem is reported:

Thanks for your understanding.
