Version: 0.7 (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hi,

okular (and kpdf) do render slow if I open a large pdf file with complex vector data. If I zoom in, I get a blured rendering that is not improved sometimes.

Adobe Reader is faster and you can see how it renderes the different parts of the pdf. Foxit reader using MS Windows is also faster.

See an example file (~ 2 MB) on http://www.uestra.de/fileadmin/gvh/downloads/Plaene/07_Region.pdf

And this is not correct. Okular does not do rendering on its own, but uses the Poppler library for that as well.
So, please, report the problem to https://bugs.freedesktop.org, "poppler" product.

Thank you for your understanding.
