Description Philippe Reich 2008-08-18 22:52:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Compiler: gcc-4.1
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

A "Neuer Termin" is created on Tuesday from 07:00 to 11:30, "Titel" and "Ort" are populated. "Wiederholungen" is set to "wöchentlich" and "Beenden nach ... Wiederholungen" is set to 5.

When Copying that "Termin" to Thursday it is copied correctly from Tuesday to Thursday for the first week, but for the second week (1st repetition) the "Termin" is copied to Tuesday instead of Thursday. So there are to "Termine" for Tuesday. For the other repetitions the error is the same: copied to Tuesday insted to Thursday.

Ok, I try to translate the description for everyone not able to understand german:
1. Create a new event for Tuesday with reccurance set to weekly, with "end after" set to 5.
2. When trying to copy that event from tuesday to thursday, this works for for the first week, in the other weeks you get a duplicate event at tuesday

The bus is changed using kontact on KDE 4.4.5.

Copying the event and pasting it in a different day of the same week, the fisrt occurance is not pasted.

Should we close this bug and open a new bug (if not already reported)?

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 4 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:46:04 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
