Version: 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0) (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-21-generic When restoring session or pressing back after opening an image to go to the previous "columns view" a "Malformed URL" shows up. -The result after pressing OK will be a column with the last open folder. -The expected result will be the arrangement of columns as it was before closing the session or opening the image(with the embedded viewer) with each column representing the parent folder of its right column. Reproduce steps: 1-Open konqueror 2-Change to Columns view mode 3-Open several folders 4a-Close konqueror and reopen it 4b-Click on an image situated on a subfolder
Using KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) (KDEmod) in ArchLinux i686: I can reproduce this bug.
I can also reproduce this bug with: kdelibs4.2 svn rev.849324 kdebase4.2 svn rev.849337 ArchLinux 2.6.25-zen2-20080814 i686 (I didn't need to do the step 4b (click on an image)
I can't reproduce this bug now using: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221)) kdelibs svn rev. 901624 / kdebase svn rev. 901624 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 Can anyone else confirm this?
I can confirm this behaviour, it only appears when using the column view. QT 4.5.1 KDE 4.3.00 on Gentoo Linux
Cannot reproduce anymore since Konqueror now uses Dolphin's filemanagement KPart for performing file management. Hence, there is no "Column View". And I cannot reproduce this issue by using the new "Details View" to simulate the old "Columns View". Feel free to reopen this ticket if this issue still is present for you in the most recent release of KDE, v4.7.4, or higher.
