Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Opening bug as requested with info discussed in <kde-windows@kde.org> list. I'm having a problem with kopete. When I try to register an Jabber or MSN account, it shows a message box with an error when loading jabber/msn plugin. Other protocols like yahoo or ICQ work just fine. kopete_jabber.dll and kopete_msn.dll are present in the \lib\kde4 directory. 'Dependency Walker' detected missing KOPETE_MSN_SHARED.DLL that is present in /bin. Placing it in /lib/kde4 made it work partially, I can configure the account, but it gave me an error when connecting. Seems like kopete have a problem of paths missing.(?)
assign to the windows group.
I've verified, this is still a bug in 4.1.1
qca.dll did not fix jabber problems for me.
(In reply to comment #2) > I've verified, this is still a bug in 4.1.1 > I installed KDE 4.1.2 and I do have the same error when connecting. Error message says: "operation not supported".

Same with 4.1.3
jabber and msn works fine for me in 4.2.0 and svnHead
I believe this problem is only happening in msvc binaries, not in MinGW binaries.
Yes, it does work now.
Peter, Christian, are you using mingw binaries? It's not working here, it seems msvc binaries can't load the dlls properly
I'm using self compiled msvc debug libs and also tested msvc release libs from the installer...
It seems my old katerc file was the reason for the problem (at least in msn), did not test jabber
It worked after complete uninstall and reinstall. (4.2 mscv)
