Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux I use Konqueror 4 with the extra toolbar on the right of the main toolbar and the location bar below them (the Konqueror 3 layout). When I go to an address which is opened with a different KPart, and thus different number of buttons on the main toolbar, the extra toolbar is often improperly placed, overlapping with the main toolbar, so I have to click on the arrow of the main toolbar to see all the buttons. It is fone in Konqueror 3 because KDE 23 did not support overlapping toolbars. I'm not sure whether this is a Konqueror or KDE or Qt issue.

I created a few screenshots. Every time I moved the extra toolbar so that it did not overlap with the main toolbar (the "from" screenshot) and went to an URL opened with an other KPart (the "to" screenshot). In the first two cases the two toolbars overlapped after the switch. In the third case they didn't, maybe because the toolbar of the KHTML view was smaller than that of the Okular view.

This bug was marked as a dupe of 164555 which was now marked as a dupe of 158698 which is closed and is told to have been fixed at least as of 4.2 beta2. I indeed can't reproduce that Kolourpaint thing in beta 2 but I can still reproduce this, so it isn't a duplicate of that.
Do other people experience this problem? It makes Konqueror 4 quite unusable for me because it happens too many times that some toolbar buttons are hidden.
I think I see when the bug appears: if you have moved the toolbar next to the main toolbar manually since you have placed it next to the main toolbar - then the program probably remembers the absolute position of that toolbar and does not move it when needed. On the other hand if you place a toolbar right next to the main toolbar and you don't move it manually in that toolbar row, the program moves it as needed.
Is this issue still valid for Konqueror 4.8.4? If yes, please update the version field accordingly. Thanks.
