Description Gandalf Lechner 2008-08-11 16:48:59 UTC
Version: 0.10.0-beta3 (rev.: 844455) (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-17-generic

This is a digikam 0.10 bug only, everything works fine in the 0.9 version.

In the image editor, the selection tool behaves awkwardly: Quite often, when dragging at the vertices of the rectangular selection box on the image to readjust the selection, the selection is lost and instead the whole image is foggy grey, indicating that nothing was selected.

It also happens quite frequently (but not always) that a fresh selection fails, i.e. click dragging on the image does not create a selection box, but rather selects nothing.

I can confirm this:

1. draw a selection
2. select either the top left, top right or bottom left corner
3. drag it
4. the selection will be gone

It only seems to work when dragging the bottom right handle.
