Version:            (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

KMenu -> Leave -> Switch User prompts to Start New Session.  But when clicked nothing happens aside from the current desktop getting locked.

So, what's needed to get this moved from UNCONFIRMED to NEW status and, hopefully, get some consideration/attention to the problem? :)

Are you still having this issue? On KDE 4.2 (I'm running trunk) it works perfectly. Maybe your problem is due to fedora packages or simply it has been fixed on newer version.

Can you try to update to a new KDE version?

Seems to work in 4.2beta under openSUSE.  So, as you suggest, it's either been fixed in 4.2 or it's a Fedora problem.  Thanks.
