Description Richard Hartmann 2008-08-07 15:24:31 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-1-686

The traditional behaviour of KDE 2 & 3 has been to enter rename on two clicks (with long-ish pause in between) and open on double click.

As I did not find any other dialog of this kind, this might be assigned to the wrong component, please reassign if this is the case.

I have no clear idea about the behavior of konsole in KDE 2 & 3, but the behavior described in this report does not holds in recent version of KDE4 konsole. See bug #167294 for the current (broken) behavior.

In KDE-4.8, clicking profile name will allow user to really rename it and keyboard shortcut can be used to open that profile.

So I will close this report as its infomation is outdated now. If you really want opening the profile with double-clicking, please open a new report.
