Version: 1.2 (using 4.0.4 (KDE 4.0.4 >= 20080505) "release 15.2", openSUSE 11.0 (i586)) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae The "Create Filter/Filter on To..." option in Kontact is insufficient because much of the email I receive is directed to me as a cc: recipient - especially spam mail, and the "Filter on To" option does not seem to work when my email address is in the cc field. Background: One of the strategies I use to get rid of spam is to give each potential spammer a unique email address (i.e. "kde@myurl.net"). Then if I start getting spam to that address, I simply filter all email going to that address to a spam folder so I never have to see it. Well, I guess spammers are on to this trick because they get around it by addressing spam recipients in the "CC:" field so that the "Filter on To.." option gets bypassed. Proposed Fix: Either the "Filter on To" option should filter on the "envelop to" field in the header (which appears to be the true address for how the email reaches me), or there should be a "Filter on cc to" option. Thanks for all the great work.
There is a CC filter, you just need to change the filter manually.
