Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package Searching some things in the new system settings was sometimes a bit difficult, here are some things that could be improved: 1) there is nowhere in the normal menu an item "system setting", only in "favourites", but "favourites" is (or should be) a special area for the user! I think, "system settings" belong in the "system" submenu. 2) With rightclick on the desktop you can configure your background, that should be somewhere in the system setting too. 3) The new "kicker"-configurator is horrible, maybe it is possible to make a configurator like the old style with a dropdown for the panel-number? Have a look on xfce4, this solution looks really better. And I just wonder if the actual configurator is usable without a mouse.
Point 1 has been resolved, system settings does have a menu entry. Points 2 and 3 are related to Plasma. Please file seperate bugs for those issues.
