Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-ARCH

KMail should remember the setting "HTML display" for particular mails - or even better: for particular senders. Additionally, most HTML mails make use of images and in the next step one can also enable "display images in HTML mail". Please also remember this setting per mail or per sender.
