Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux I'm using kmail with KDE 4.1 downloaded from debian experimental repositories. When I try to send an e-mail using SMTP transport and no encrypted data, the e-mail is sent with no attaches when previously I attached for example a photo.
I can not reproduce this at all, sending mails with attachments works fine for me. Please give more details, read http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html
I'm using kdepim 4.1 from debian repositories. When I want to send a mail with attachments, I attach something and then I click on 'send' button. Afterwards a window appears asking me about the encrypt key, I click on the cross button to clear the key. Then a window asking for sending without encrypting appears and I say 'yes'. The mail is sent but the attachment cannot be opened. It is attached but it cannot be opened. The mime type of the attachment is 'multipart/mixed' in all cases. I has no extension and always the name is 'noname'
I could resolve the problem. The solution was erasing the ~/.kde4 directory and starting KDE 4 again. I've configured everything and now everything is working allright.
