Description Daniel Andre Eikeland 2008-07-21 01:17:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Kopete's chat window should use the KDE setting for its toolbar icons, instead of its own settings.
Comment 1 Daniel Andre Eikeland 2008-07-21 01:18:40 UTC
I should have been more descriptive - the current Kopete toolbar icons have text underneath them, even though I have in my global settings said that I don't want toolbar icon text to be displayed. Kopete's main window honored this setting, and only showed icons - no text.

I can confirm this bug. I'm using Kopete 0.60.3 (KDE 4.1.3) from Kubuntu 8.10 packages. The global preferences is set to text alongside icons, but the chat window toolbar shows text under the icons.

Has this improved with KDE 4.2? There were a lot of toolbar fixes in that release (not necessarily in Kopete itself, but in other toolbar related code in kdelibs)

Tested again in KDE 4.2.4 and KDE 4.3.1 and the issue is gone. The bug can be closed now. Sorry for the late feedback

Thanks for the feedback! Better late than never!
