Version: 1.10.0 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.0.99 (4.1 RC1+)), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-11.slh.2-sidux-686 I really appreciate the option to give special flags to mails like "later" or user defined flags. Alas kmail does not show the symbol for the mails in the mail list. I'd expect to see the small symbol for the chosen flag in front of the mail in the list but you cannot choose those flags as columns in the list view. If it is not intended to show such a symbol the bug is that the configuration of the flags let the user think it is intended. In this case it should be made clearer that the chosen symbol is just the symbol for the toolbar button and not for the flagging itself. And in this case it is a wish to enable the flagging with symbols which can be shown in own columns in front of the mail entry in the list view.

This is already implemented (and working) in kmail 1.11.0 (kde 4.2) with the new message list.
I still don't have the tag icons in the message list using KDE 4.3 Beta1, just the name of the tag is shown in the mail's tooltip. The icons shown in my message list are the ones for read, attachment and so on, but not those special message tag icons. Maybe it's because I only use the classic view. It is shown in the "Design" views but can you please add it to the classic view?
Uh sorry, found it. It's just a problem with understanding my own language, I'd never thought ticking "Markierungsliste" could show the tag icons because it isn't a list, just an icon, a symbol, I had no idea what "Markierungsliste" could be.
