When I renamed my list of servers in RDP bookmarks, not the url, I can no longer just click on the name in Remote Desktop Sidebar.  The bookmarks do work when clicking on the Bookmarks menu button and then selecting the renamed favorite. 

I have not tried with VNC bookmarks only with RDP.

Upon further testing I seems as the Remote desktop sidebar uses the Name instead of the URL.  

I tested this by leaving the the name unchanged (which the default name is the same as the url) and changing the url and I can still connect to my rdp server using the Remote Desktop sidebar.  But if I use the same bookmark to connect to the server, which now has an invalid url, I cannot connect to it via the Bookmarks drop down menu.
