Description Hendrik Sander 2008-07-16 17:43:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Hi.

After the update I've made Yesterday on KDE 4.1 RC1 the Plasma Desktop aren't shown. The only thin that I can see is a white screen and the mouse. But everything else works fine, if I start it with ALT+F2. (Kontact, Firefox, Openoffice, Dolphin, Konqueror, although Games with wine like Guild Wars etc.)

When I activate Composite it is all the same only that the screen is black. I've reinstalled the Nvidia driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-173.14.05.During the installation there is no bug reoport but after the installation it's all the same. Bevor I've done the update to RC1 it all works very nice. So there must be a bug in the updated rpms.

we're not responsible for bugs in nvidia drivers or distro rpms =)
