Version: 4.00.85 (using KDE 4.0.83) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Some web sites (e.g. http://www.spiegel.de or http://www.stern.de) cause an annoying behavior in Konqueror. To reproduce, do so here: 1) Start Konqueror freshly and open http://www.spiegel.de 2) Click on any link on the home page. 3) Click back. In most cases, this causes the Konqueror window to be sized roughly twice as wide as it should be, i have to move the window to the left to reach the resizing controls or the close button. The window can also not be shrunk back to a reasonable size. Am i missing something obvious?
Please add a screenshot. It may be already resolved.
Created attachment 26067 [details] Initial view of the www.spiegel.de homepage
Created attachment 26068 [details] After clicking on first link - window dimensions still ok
Created attachment 26069 [details] www.spiegel.de homepage again, after clicking back - shows the bug This screenshot shows the bug. Look at the top right corner. To reach the close button, you would have to move the window substantially to the left. In the case of the www.spiegel.de homepage, this does not affect the page layout negatively. However, when reporting this bug in a different browser tab on bugs.kde.org while the main window had this condition, the textarea width was twice the screen's size, so i had to move the window back and forth in order to see all the text i was writing.
That's what I thought. This bug was already resolved a few days ago. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 161443 ***
