Description folkert 2008-07-12 10:51:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I tried to install PeachyDock through the 'GetHotNewStuff'. As soon as I hit install.

Note1: Already installed and running is KXDocker1.1.4a

Note2: I have installed KDE throught the RPMs for opensuse. I have seen a lot of 4.0.4 packages getting installed though the cmd kde-config --version returns - KDE 3.5.9 release 49.1!!!

Please read the following page and provide a useful backtrace for this crash : http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

If you can reproduce this with the latest KDE, can you provide a useful backtrace as described at http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and include the console output?

You should be able to get the console output of plasma by doing something like

grep plasma ~/.xsession-errors > plasma.log

or by doing

kquitapp plasma; plasma

to get plasma to run on a Konsole terminal before trying to reproduce the crash.
