Version:           4.0.98 (using Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources

If i launch an application from kickoff or panel
it start fast as usual(for example kmail.desktop)
if i launch the same app from folderview applet
start after 4 or 5 seconds.

Solved on 4.1rc1+
