Hallo,
I don't have a hint to what caused the crash
because it happened during normal operation.
The crash setting:
Two dolphin windows open, different views of
same directory structure, I click on the
column header to walk the directory tree up
and the crash happened.

Here is the backtrace:
Application: Dolphin (dolphin), signal SIGSEGV

Please read the following page and provide a useful backtrace for this crash : http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
Comment 2 F Schuette 2008-07-10 12:53:28 UTC
I tested some more and I am now able to reproduce the crash.
I open my home folder, walk down the directory tree 3 levels deep.
(screenshot #1)
Then I click on the folder right next to my home folder.
(screenshot #2)
Now I click on the home folder and each time dolphin crashes.
I hope that helps.

I' afraid I can't reproduce the crash using your test case.

Does this crash still happen ? if so, read the above comments and provide a detailed backtrace.
