Version: (using KDE 4.0.83) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux When opening any GHNS2 window (like New Wallpaper or New Theme from Desktop Settings) it loads very long (more than a minute), and while doing this system is very unresponsive - 100% cpu is used and window can't be scrolled etc. It's better the next time the same ghns window is opened, but still slow and unresponsive. It isn't (only) net speed issue, becouse I have rather fast net, and when i download stuff from kde-look.org by browser, it is fast. Even if it was slow internet fault, waiting to download preview shouldn't use 100% cpu (IMHO at least:)). Steps to reproduce - start KDE4, open Desktop Settings, click New Themes, wait... My system - Celeron 2.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Integrated SiS graphic card (SiS 650M). My kde version - 4.0.84 from Debian experimental packages (I can't find tht version in combobox earlier in bugzilla wizard).
Do you still get this with 4.1 final?
Speed was horrible before 4.1.0, but now it's just fine with 4.1.1.
