Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Hi,

I added the Powersave Plasmoid to my panel. When I add a second Powersave Plasmoid on my desktop the screen starts to flicker. So it looks like the second Plasmoid tries to dim the screen as well as the 1st one.

Cheers,
Michael

1) Where is the powersave plasmoid?
2) What video card drivers are you using?
Comment 2 Michael Braun 2008-07-06 20:43:26 UTC
to 1) The 1st one in my panel and the 2nd one on my desktop. But there is the same bahvior when I add 2 powersave plasmoids on my panel.

to 2) I've got an nvidia Quadro NVS 140M in my Thinkpad T61 and I'm using the nvidia driver version 173.14.09.

Do you need further information?

I meant where did you download/get the powersave plasmoid from
Comment 4 Michael Braun 2008-07-06 23:26:42 UTC
It is part of a Mandriva package (kde4powersave-0.0.1-0.827479.1mdv2009.0). Do you think it is an Mandriva package BUG, then I will open a BUG in their Bug-Tracker?

Can you please attach a screenshot of before/after?
Also, I am having trouble finding this plasmoid.

After the actual updates to 4.0.85 this morning the problem is solved at the moment. If it comes back, I will reopen this report. Thanks for your help! :-)
