Version: 3.1 (using 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-6-486 I don't like that in current Juk there is no way to toggle crossfade, which occurs when changing tracks, out of action. I ask for option to toggle it off. It's just annoying feature. I know that some people here asked for that feature but I don't like it. I am sure that there are others who don't like it either.
i started using juk these days, and it's really annoying that there is no menu entry to disable the crossfade. and i really don't like crossfaded songs, when i don't ask for it. kind regards, Harald
I don't like this behavior too. An option for set it off should be added.
Pleas turn the crossfade off.
I am using juk for years and it's a sad thing that my favourite audioplayer has become useless for my classical, jazz and audiobook tracks due to that "feature". Please add an option to turn it off.
Why is this not fixed yet? just installed 4.2.2 and its still messed up, this should have been a higher priority than the other changes that were made
Yes, I think Juk needs crossfade on/off option in KDE 4.3 Can you implement.it?
I'll set it on my "to-patch" list for 4.3. I dislike crossfade myself.
Created attachment 33563 [details] Patch to enable/disable crossfading Adds a new submenu in Player (Crossfade Files). You can enable / disable crossfading with this option. Though, I can't really test it here, since my laptop uses Xine as backend (and Xine has no crossfading :p). Please test it (PS: You need to install the jukui files).
SVN commit 1014489 by mpyne: Add ability to disable music crossfading in JuK. Patch is provided by Georg Grabler with a few tweaks and a change in how the crossfading is actually disabled.
