Version:           2.9.999 (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

When I try to open a zip file with ark-kde4, ark opens empty ...
zip is not in the supported formats list in open dialog box.
Every suggested dependencies are installed.
Hint: in Dolphin when I enable the browse trough archives ,I get a 'not supported file format' message ...

ark-kde3 works fine .

I can confirm this bug is present in Ubuntu Hardy

Using KFE 4.00.98 does not change a thing for this bug

I can confirm this bug. However, Dolphin is able to browse through .zip archives. I'm not sure if Dolphin uses ark to browse through the archives, or has its own way to access the files.
