Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-4 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-9.slh.1-sidux-686 When a korganizer reminder opens I have the option to confirm it or close it (which seems to be the same) or to make it pop up some minutes/hours later again. But since kontact "enterprise version" it does only work once so you can have a maximum of two reminders per task/event which is very annoying. The second time I click on the remind me again button it becomes a confirm button so I don't have any choice but having to cancel the reminder. At first I didn't realize this problem so I missed some really important appointments and time limits because I relied on korganizer. Expected behaviour: like it was before - as many repeating reminders as the user wishes.
Created attachment 25808 [details] no remind later possible, greyed out This reminder popped up (why twice I don't know, other bug?), I clicked on the remind me later button and instantly after that action the button got greyed out so I am forced to either close the window or confirm it. Both leads to the situation that there won't be any more reminders for that event!
What happens if you relesect the entry in the dialog? Is this possible? Does something changes? Sometimes I have the same problem, but i just reselect the item and I can set a time again.
Ok, I see, I have to explicitly select the entry, even if there is only one entry. So it does work for me now. But I'm not sure about closing this report because IMHO this behaviour is not intuitive and led to some missed events. So maybe the entry should be preselected if there is only one in the reminder popup list to avoid that. And if there's more than one entry maybe the first should be preselected so that the user sees that they need to be selected before confirming the dialog.
this should be fixed in 3.5.10, KDE 4.1.1, and the upcoming KDE 4.2. we now always make sure to have 1 pre-selected incidence in the dialog.
