Description gdiffey 2008-07-02 07:43:24 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

If you change the color scheme of kde in system settings while kopete is running. the chat styles in kopete don't recognise the new colors until kopete is restarted.

I can confirm that the KHTML KPart inside a chat window does not use the newly set KDE colors; nor will the "Send" pushbutton. Window decorations, menus, tabs, the buddy list, and everything else immediately reflect the change for SVN r823211.

Color scheme is off

According to my KDE4 color-scheme, the lower 'input box' font should be white-on-black, not black-on-black. Likewise the color of my sent-messages.

This isn't a bad color combo. KDE AND Kopete's color settings contain NO reference to a black font. Kopete just wants to keep my fonts black no matter what.
