Description Brian Beck 2008-06-29 18:57:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If I click on the KMenu (new version) then move my mouse pointer onto my desktop the mouse pointer will become invisible. You can't make it visible until you press the Esc key, click a mouse button, or move the invisible pointer over the KMenu.

To reproduce:
1. Click on the KMenu so it opens
2. Move mouse to an empty area of the desktop
3. Wait until the pointer disappears (about five seconds)

At this point no amount of "wiggling" the mouse will bring it back you must click your mouse, press the Esc key, or move the invisible pointer over the open KMenu.

Expected Behavior:
As soon as I begin to "wiggle" the mouse the pointer should become visible

Thanks.

this smells like a Qt bug, but will have to investigate.

Do you still get this with 4.1?
Comment 3 Brian Beck 2008-08-21 18:11:29 UTC
This does still happen in 4.1.0. I'm using the Kubuntu build of KDE.
