Step to reproduce:
1) create a directory X
2) create a sub-directory X1 of X
3) create a sub-directory X2 of X1
.... iterate this a lot of times (10 could be sufficient)
4) start dolphin
5) activate column view and browse throug X -> X1 -> ... Xn
You will have a lot of columns opened.
6) clik on one of the firsts entries in the bradcrumb 

This make my dolphin crash:
