Description Kjell Arne Brekke 2008-06-25 20:14:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
OS: Linux

When I import from google calendar or ics files, all appointments are off by one hour.
Comment 1 Christophe Marin 2008-06-26 11:29:35 UTC
I can't reproduce this bug with a recent build (kdepim rev. 824543).

Are your timezone settings correct on Google Agenda ? They should be the same as the timezone configured in korganizer.
Comment 2 Kjell Arne Brekke 2008-06-26 11:33:46 UTC
Thanks a lot for the feedback, maybee reporting a bug was not the right
way to do it?

I checked the time-zone settings on all application, they are all the
same (Oslo). Google and Outlook communicate OK without moving
appointments, but to get it right on Korganizer I had to set the time
zone one hour wrong (to London rather than Oslo). Do all applications
similarly account for summer time in Oslo?

No no, it is a right way to do. :)

I was just trying to find a possible reason for this bug (and maybe reproduce it with a recent version).

I'm going to try with the Oslo timezone

I have the version shipped with the eee-pc

Cannot reproduce it here with latest korganizer from trunk (with TZ Europe/Paris which is the same as Oslo).
Comment 6 Kjell Arne Brekke 2008-06-26 13:44:12 UTC
OK

I have enclosed a ics file from my Outlook with appointments from the
next 7 days. If the appointment "Marie" at monday is at 10:00, the
problem should be with the my Korganizer at the eee, otherwise the
settings in my Outlook is the problem.

Comment 8 Kjell Arne Brekke 2008-06-26 14:25:35 UTC
That seems OK (Except I do not understand the UTC-clock)

The problems apparently are with my eee-PC. I'm not that familiar with
eee nor Linux yet, so maybe there are time zones in the setting that I
have not spotted, or the problems are fixed in updated version of
Korganizer.

Thanks for looking into the problem.

I'm closing.
All the events in the calendar file provided work fine in the current trunk version.
