Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources taskbar size is not fixed this means that more apps I run the more tiny icons on other widgets will be. This is bad because all of the sudden with each run/quit everything in the panel is moving (and changing its size).
screenshots, details, .... ? you're posting large numbers of reports each day. it would be great if the reports were more detailed and explicit. i'd trade 10 of these kinds of reports for 1 really thorough one. i'm going to start just closing reports like this one as being too time consuming to process.
Ss follow, I use kde4daily, what other details are useful for you?

Finex, in the other report taskbar __HAS__ fixed size (and the problem is how to show all those entries), in this report taskbar __DOES NOT__ have fixed size and eats all the space around. I don't see how those two are duplicates. Please verify this (and reopen?), thanks. Btw. it happens in unlocked mode (not in locked mode).

I tested it some more -- this is not a duplicate. More issues on this one -- it takes only 1 app to resize the taskbar. What's more -- that one entry causes that taskbar not only is resized but overlapping what is next to it on the left. When you quit that app (and entry from panel disappears) the content of the item on the left is not refreshed. In my case (see ss) is a pager, so before I launch any app I can see 11 22 33 44 desktops (11 is just to show the width), after launch it is 11 2 33 4 and after quit it is still 11 2 33 4
