Thist problem it's konsole, I need print screen from konsole session, but when choose (menu) Session | Print Screen and press 'Print' button, the job don't print, and appear message...
This looks like a problem which is specific to your network. Please talk to your system administrator and ask them for help. In recent versions of Konsole (KDE 4) the print feature has been removed in any case in favour of exporting output to a text file or web page which can be printed from Kate or the a web browser.
Hi Robert: I comment.... for more details, My job is "network manager".... ... and this error don't present in all users, I have every servers (identical installation) with 10 station aprox. for one, and don't present this problem. I'm reviewing and don't detect cause of fault, maybe permision of the users for access at binary 'Cupsdoprint' or printer script don't create. Moreover for more details I edited /etc/cups/cupsd.conf and change debug level to Debug2, and restart cups, and don't see errors.... I reading about, but all recomend reinstall cups .... but I do not think it is good idea! the user cl.h006215 is users group, and the group is defined ...users:x:100: Thanks and help me please!!
Hi Leonel, Unfortunately I do not know very much about cups or how it interacts with KDE applications. Konsole's printing is very simple and uses the standard KDE methods so it should behave like any other KDE applications. A web search for "cupsdoprint" would be the best place to start if you are looking for possible answers. As a workaround to your problem, you could save the output of the terminal to a text file via Edit -> Save History As... and then open that text file in another application to print. Another alternative would be to use KSnapshot and to grab an image of the Konsole window.
Ohhh! Friend No problem, understand, will continue my search. maybe find information about resolve my problem.- anyway, you know about good client terminal vt100 for SLES 9 (Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9), with option "Print Screen Text" and very light??? (now using konsole with command-line "telnet " for emulate this functionality) thank you very much, for you help and time.-
