Description Frederik Himpe 2008-06-22 11:53:32 UTC
Version: 4.0.83 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

Move konsole from the kickoff menu to the desktop. The desktop icon only shows Kon... as caption. The desktop icon has to be enlarged to make the whole text readable. The default size should probably a bit larger, so that such short names are at least shown completely by default.

Can you provide a size in pixels that would be OK for your? Thanks!

I'm not too sure how I can now the size in pixels of icons shown on the
desktop. I attach a screenshot. The konsole one is the default size, the other
three could be a nice size to show application names completely.

What size does the folder view widget uses? That one would be a good idea too,
for consistency reasons. Actually I think the best solution would be that
Dolphin, the Folder View widget and the desktop icons all use the same default
size, which can be set from Dolphin.

In which version is this supposed to be fixed? It is still the same in KDE 4.0.84 for me.
