Description Sergio 2008-06-22 00:50:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.3.1
OS: Linux

Digital clock (with day of the week and date) is not shown when a session starts. There is a black space where the clock is supossed to be, and as soon I move the mouse over this area, the clock appears.

Hi Sergio,

what video driver are you using? and if nvidia, what version (ALT+F2 "nvidia-settings")?
Comment 2 Sergio 2008-06-22 12:02:10 UTC
Hi,
Yes, the driver is nvidia, and its version is 173.14.09
Comment 3 Aaron J. Seigo 2008-07-06 23:17:50 UTC
this is an upstream (nvidia) bug with argb visuals
Comment 4 Francesco Betti Sorbelli 2008-12-20 18:50:15 UTC
Hi, I have similar problem with KDE 4.1.85 (unofficial debian packages). In my case, digital clock is invisible if I set the "day of the week".
