Description Frossie 2008-06-19 23:01:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Hopefully this is a simple one that hasn't been mentioned already.

Many times I just want to grab one image and upload it to a print service or e-mail it to somebody or otherwise "get it out". It would be incredibly useful if, from the right mouse button context menu on the thumbnail, there was an option to place the filename of the target image into the klipper (clipboard) buffer.

That way I could paste that straight into a web browser "upload" field.

I think this would be really useful in exporting a single image without worrying about a remote client's API.

You can mark an image in thumbnail view and press CTRL+C zu get the url into the klipper. If you use konqueror, you can even use Drag & Drop.

Ah! Thanks that will do. I'll mark this as resolved, though if anybody felt like putting it into the menu I think that would be even more user-friendly.
