Description Julien Bigot 2008-06-17 17:09:50 UTC
Version: 4.0.82+svn819867-1 from debian experimental (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

When I run kontact and go to settings->configure kontact, subtrees in the left pannel don't appear where they should.
Options for the usenet module go under the "calendar" entry in this tree, options for the feeds module go under the "Usenet" entry ...
I belive this is the reason why there is no options if one goes to the feed module and then select settings->configure akregator as stated in bug #162852

Confirmed by me.

I just saw this too... the usenet page list was shown under feeds (the node above). The page list under feeds was also ghosted. This resolved itself when I clicked on the expander for feeds twice (to collapse/expand the subtree) -- proper page list appeared, and ghosting disappeared. But then the same thing happened with the feeds pages -- they were duplicated under calendar (again, node above what was duplicated). Again, collapsing and expanding the calendar node resolved it. Surprisingly, the problem didn't move up the tree (to the node above) that time though, and so everything was then OK. The same problem doesn't appear now, after re-openng the preferences window, or even after restarting kontact.

a fix was committed for this bug today and will be available in KDE 4.2 and KDE 4.1.1

we still are working on a fix to show knotes and kjots in the configuration tree.
