Version: 4.00.82 (KDE 4.0.82 >= 20080610) (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Compiler: gcc OS: Linux Right now there is no way to filter files without an extension or a common name pattern, or at least I haven't found it. I have some plain text files on a temporary folder that I would like to show on a folderview but renaming them to *.txt is quite a pain. It would be awesome to be able to add a filter based on mime type, though I'm not a developer so there may be a better solution that I just can't imagine :)
Yes, at the moment is only possible to set filters which are compared to filenames. Filtering by mimetypes is a good thing IMHO.
This, plus much more, might be possible once akonadi gets implemented
Re #2: schouldn't this be Nepomuk instead of akonadi?
