Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2008-06-15 17:48:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.80)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When plasma chrash for some reason. It relaunches it self quite nicely. However, some of the system tray icons(eg. kmix) position themselves in the left top corner of the screen. far away from the systemtray

there is only so much we can do about this as we are limited by the power of xembed. changing the fd.o spec for this is the only complete fix. we faced the same problems with kicker in kde3.

and why isn't there a CANTFIX option for bugzill? it'd be nicer for these kinds of situations than INVALID (its not particularly invalid, per se) or WONTFIX
Comment 2 Alex Merry 2008-07-14 21:13:09 UTC
Nevertheless, we should mark it to say we can't do anything. WONTFIX + aseigo's comment should do. We won't fix it because we can't...
